Campden BRI offers professional support to ensure your thermal processes consistently produce safe products. For over 100 years we’ve been at the forefront of food and drink thermal and non-thermal processing. Our team holds extensive experience in supporting processors within the UK and around the world, regularly working with some of the world’s largest food and drinks companies.

You will specialise in thermal processing and lead the business development and project delivery of related technical work such as validation, consultancy and training.

  • Planning and managing project work activities within the field of thermal processing (food and beverage).
  • Delivery of process validation trials or consultancy, at client’s site, in office or utilising the Campden BRI pilot plant.
  • Regular travel to client sites in the UK and abroad is expected.
  • Design, coordinate and deliver thermal processing training courses and presentations on scheduled and tailored training courses at Campden BRI and at client sites.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in engineering, food technology or other sciences.
  • An awareness of the importance of heat processing in the food industry.
  • Proven experience, ideally in a food production related setting.
  • Experience working with thermal food processes.
  • Time management and financial awareness to facilitate effective project management.
  • Full UK/EU driving licence and eligibility to live/work in the UK.
  • Ability to travel within the UK and beyond.
  • Computer literate: MS Office (particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Hybrid working - flexibility is needed to visit our client’s sites and when required be at site at Chipping Campden.
