Support Services

Our support services cover all non-scientific business needs, including: IT, finance, HR, compliance, governance, legal and risk, facilities and engineering, catering, sales, marketing, and scientific affairs

Operations Department

This is a part time role- working Thursdays 8am-5.15pm and Fridays 8am- 4.30pm. Total hours 16.25.

The role is based at our office in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire and due to our location, you will be required to have your own transport.

Position

  • Deal efficiently and effectively with telephone calls to main switchboard and other reception related duties, including visitor management
  • Manage effectively and efficiently central booking system for meeting rooms (including associated requirements e.g., room layout, catering, and equipment to ensure maximum usage of facilities)
  • Resolving queries/problems with both internal / external clients satisfactorily
  • Provide administrative support where necessary
  • Coordination of Reception areas to provide a smart, efficient, and professional image to welcome visitors and promote Campden BRI services
  • Ensuring effective work practices/procedures to maintain a high standard of professionalism in the Reception Areas (including first aid and emergency response)

Requirements

  • Good standard of education (minimum of 5 GCSEs including English & Maths)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a reception environment and administration
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build a good rapport/relationship with clients
  • Proactive can-do attitude, ability to promote Campden BRI services
  • Good organisational skill with an ability to work to deadlines and under pressure, dealing with demands of multiple customers
  • The ability to learn quickly and take on new tasks with the minimum of supervision
  • Good team player
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
