Analytical Services
We offer commercial analytical lab chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritional and health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography, packaging, cereals and ingredients, and wines and spirits.
Food Composition
You’ll work as part of the wider team, covering elements of analytical chemistry. The Food Composition team analysis food & drink to analysis and provide nutritional values.
Position
- Routine analysis of foodstuffs and associated materials using a variety of methods
- Updating QC records, basic maintenance and checks of laboratory equipment
- Preparation and administration of samples
- General Admin in the Section as required
- General laboratory housekeeping duties
- Training and supervising staff as required
Requirements
- Ability to undertake routine analytical testing with minimum supervision
- Good organisational skills in managing own workload
- Ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work on a number of tasks and manage priorities

Please note due to our rural location, you must be able to get to our site and have your own transport- no public transport to site.
