Analytical Services We offer commercial analytical lab chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritional and health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography, packaging, cereals and ingredients, and wines and spirits Microscopy Team Our Microscopy team undertakes a diverse range of microscopy investigations which can include foreign bodies, screening, imaging, packaging, key accounts, and bespoke client requests. They produce relevant reports and provide consultation with clients. Position To undertake microscopic investigations of foreign bodies using different forensic science and microscope techniques. Electron microscope analysis when required. Interpret analytical data. Prepare and issue technical reports on any investigation undertaken. To work in a safe manner in accordance with departmental policies. To keep neat and orderly records of results and other relevant information. Requirements Degree in Forensic Science, Biology/ Biosciences or BioChemistry. Good written & verbal communication. Enthusiasm to learn and an interest in science. Ability to write clear and professional client reports. Problem solving skills. Good time management. Ability to work individually or as a team.
