What you’ll be doing
Your day-to-day will include:
- Receiving deliveries, unpacking samples, and preparing shipments (10%)
- Logging samples into our LIMS system and managing storage or subcontracting (40%)
- Supporting lab prep or admin tasks depending on your skills and interests (20%)
- Helping the Sample Administrator keep workflows smooth and efficient (15%)
- Keeping the workspace clean, safe, and organized (5%)
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- You’re comfortable with physical tasks and manual handling
- You’re digitally savvy and can pick up new systems quickly
- You communicate clearly and work well in a team
- You’re organized and can manage your own workload
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with LIMS or similar systems
- A science qualification (AS-Level Chemistry or higher is a bonus)
- Previous lab or logistics experience
