Campden BRI offer commercial analytical lab chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritional and health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography, packaging, cereals and ingredients, and wines and spirits.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will be responsible for undertaking a range of microscopy investigations which can include foreign bodies, screening products for the presence of foreign/extraneous matter, imaging, packaging and bespoke client requests.
  • Interpret analytical data.
  • Prepare and issue technical reports on investigation.
  • Consult with and assist clients with the work required or interpretation of results.
  • Assist with the return of samples and associated activities when required.
  • Provide technical support and advice to colleagues if required.
  • Work in a safe manner in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Keep neat and orderly records of results and other relevant information.

  • An investigative mindset.
  • Relevant degree (Forensic Science/Biology/Chemistry).
  • A background in SEM (Scanning electron microscopy).
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Able to commute to Chipping Campden five days a week.
  • Own vehicle and valid UK Driving License.
