Passionate about Chemistry and ready to put your degree to work? We're looking for a Senior Laboratory Technician to join our Analytical Services team at our Chipping Campden site. Please note due to our rural location, applicants will need a full Driving License and access to their own vehicle.
What you'll do:
- Undertake routine and bespoke analysis of food and associated materials using advanced instrumental techniques including GC/MS/MS, LC/MS/MS, HPLC, and ICP.
- Book in samples, prepare samples, and report results accurately to clients.
- Produce accurate laboratory records, calculate results, collate data, and prepare analytical reports.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues with complex equipment and methods.
- Coordinate and prioritise your own workload to meet client deadlines.
About you:
- Degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
- A-Level Chemistry at grade A or B.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to compile clear scientific reports and interact confidently with clients.
- A methodical, proactive approach and a commitment to quality.
