We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installations on a range of projects across sectors including healthcare, commercial, and high-end residential developments. You will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, while coordinating site teams and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day electrical installation works on site
- Manage and coordinate electricians and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
- Carry out quality inspections and snagging
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other trades
- Monitor progress against programme and report updates
- Ensure all works meet current regulations (BS7671, NICEIC standards, etc.)
- Support commissioning and handover processes
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor within construction/M&E
- Strong knowledge of commercial/healthcare electrical installations
- SSSTS or SMSTS (essential)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS/CSCS Gold Card (or equivalent)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Desirable
- Experience on NHS / healthcare projects
- Testing & inspection qualifications (2391 or equivalent)
- Experience with commissioning and handover documentation
