We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installations on a range of projects across sectors including healthcare, commercial, and high-end residential developments. You will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, while coordinating site teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day electrical installation works on site
  • Manage and coordinate electricians and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures
  • Review drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
  • Carry out quality inspections and snagging
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other trades
  • Monitor progress against programme and report updates
  • Ensure all works meet current regulations (BS7671, NICEIC standards, etc.)
  • Support commissioning and handover processes

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor within construction/M&E
  • Strong knowledge of commercial/healthcare electrical installations
  • SSSTS or SMSTS (essential)
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • ECS/CSCS Gold Card (or equivalent)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Desirable

  • Experience on NHS / healthcare projects
  • Testing & inspection qualifications (2391 or equivalent)
  • Experience with commissioning and handover documentation
