Campbell Tickell are proud to be recruiting for a Chair at Islington & Shoreditch Housing Association. Co-creating homes and communities where everyone can flourish. At ISHA, community and neighbourhood mean everything to us, and our roots run deep in the areas of North London we serve. Founded over 90 years ago we now provide over 2,500 homes for over 5,000 people across Islington, Hackney, and Waltham Forest and we continue to build on our history of service by offering a wide range of housing choices.
Our new Chair will lead a dedicated and skilled Board to ensure that ISHA is governed effectively and strategically. Working closely with our Chief Executive, you will guide the organisation’s vision, values, and strategic direction, and act as an ambassador, representing ISHA to external stakeholders and helping to strengthen our profile and impact.
You will bring non-executive Board experience and ideally experience Chairing in some capacity. While experience in the social housing sector is welcome, it is not essential. More important will be your ability to lead with integrity, inspire confidence, and contribute strategic insight, and your passion for making a real difference in people’s lives.
If you share our belief in the power of what can be achieved by an independent, local and community-based housing provider, then do find out more.
