The Role
We are looking for a System Implementation Engineer to manage the delivery of environmental monitoring solutions for solar energy projects. You will work closely with sales, production, and clients to ensure systems are designed, tested, and installed to the highest standards. Your role will be central to ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth execution of renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full delivery process from order receipt to system installation.
- Design, configure, and test Campbell Scientific automatic weather stations.
- Produce technical documentation, schematics, and datalogger programs.
- Provide training to internal teams and customers, including on-site commissioning.
- Support product development by providing feedback from customers and projects.
- Assist with proposals, sales tools, and technical marketing content.
- Represent Campbell Scientific at conferences and exhibitions when needed.
Who You Are
- Experienced in environmental monitoring, measurement systems, or technical project delivery.
- Technically strong with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Customer-focused, proactive, and able to work collaboratively across teams.
- Willing to travel within the UK and occasionally abroad.
- Experience with Campbell Scientific hardware and communication protocols.
- Experience in solar energy or renewable energy projects.
Qualifications
- BS in Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in technical support, application management, or customer-facing roles.
