The Role
You'll be reporting into the Financial Controller and taking real ownership of the monthly close cycle, from initial close right through to Board-ready reporting packs. You'll be the person who keeps the numbers accurate, insightful and on time, sitting across both management and statutory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the end-to-end monthly close and delivering management accounts to senior stakeholders
- Keeping balance sheet reconciliations tight and reviewing margin performance
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts
- Owning the integrity of the financial system day-to-day, including fixed assets
- Leading the external audit process
- Getting stuck into budgets, forecasts and process improvement
