Our client is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to work alongside the Managing Director and leadership team, helping to support the business through its next phase of growth.

This is a hands-on position where you'll be involved in the detail as well as the bigger picture.

What you'll be doing: Leading and developing a small finance team.

Producing monthly management accounts with meaningful commentary.

Preparing budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting.

Business partnering with the Managing Director and senior leadership team.

Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting.

Managing the year-end process and liaising with external auditors and accountants.

Overseeing VAT, payroll and statutory reporting.

Providing commercial analysis to support business decisions.

Supporting projects and continuous improvement initiatives as the business continues to grow.

What we're looking for: Qualified / PQ / QBE – experience and attitude is more important.

Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Finance Manager role, ideally within an SME.

Happy to manage a small finance team across management accounts and transactional finance.

A hands-on finance leader who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day as well as the strategic direction of the business.

Strong commercial awareness with the confidence to influence and challenge where appropriate.

Someone with strong partnering skills as you will be regularly liaising with external clients.

A proactive individual who thrives in a growing environment.
