This is a hands-on finance role in a growing Tech business, working closely with operations to understand how the business is really performing. You will sit on the commercial side of finance digging into project performance, challenging assumptions, and helping the business make better decisions. Expect a mix of analysis, month-end, and partnering with non-finance teams.
What you will be doing:
- Analysing project and business performance looking at what’s working, what’s not, and why
- Explaining variances to cost centre owners, looking at what’s changed
- Driving strong financial control and compliance
- Supporting forecasting and planning
- Partnering with stakeholders to challenge numbers and improve decision making
- Getting into the detail, spotting risks, trends, and opportunities early
What we are looking for:
- Ideally qualified/PQ Accountant with management accounts experience
- Strong Excel skills (this is a must)
- Ideally experience in project accounting
- Someone naturally curious and inquisitive - do you question the numbers or just report them?
- Comfortable working with non-finance teams
