Campbell Grove Talent are working with a brilliant, growing professional services business in Harrogate who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join them on a part time basis - c£52,000 - £58,000 pro rata. Following a recent acquisition, it's the perfect time to join a business on the up, where you can really add value whilst also having a fantastic work life balance.
The Role: As Finance Manager you'll be taking ownership of monthly management accounts for a portfolio of limited companies, along with the wider month-end process including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, variance analysis and commentary. It's a meaty, hands-on role where your expertise will genuinely matter. But here's what makes this one stand out: they're not just looking for someone who can deliver the numbers. They want someone who notices things, who spots what's missing, asks the right questions, and brings a bit of commercial curiosity to everything they do. If you're the kind of person who can't help but flag something that doesn't look quite right, you'll be perfect for this role.
About You:
- A qualified accountant, CIMA, ACCA, ACA
- Solid management accounts experience, whether from industry or practice (used to juggling multiple clients)
- Detail-obsessed, but in the best possible way
- Proactive and inquisitive, you add value beyond what's asked of you
- Comfortable working independently and owning your workload
The Flexible Bit: Around 22.5 hours a week, but how you work those hours is genuinely up to you. Three full days? Four shorter days? Hours built around the school run? They're open to all of it. The team is office-based Tuesday to Thursday, so some presence on those days is needed, but beyond that, this is a role designed to work around your life, not the other way around.
If you've been waiting for a great finance role that fits around your commitments, then please apply with your CV or reach out to Emma Dugdale or Lucy Regan for further information.
