Campbell Grove Talent are working with a well established Legal firm in central Harrogate who are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function. This is an office based role where you’ll be right in the thick of it, not just reporting numbers, but getting involved across the business and supporting decision making.

The role: You’ll be responsible for managing the finance function end-to-end, ensuring everything runs smoothly, accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals and reconciliations
  • Oversight of transactional finance (AP, AR and general ledger)
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
  • Liaising with external auditors and supporting year-end accounts
  • Providing clear financial insight and working closely with senior stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

  • Flexible on qualification so AAT/PQ / QBE would be considered
  • Experience in a similar role within Legal or Professional Services
  • Strong management accounting and reporting experience
  • Confident communicator who’s comfortable challenging and supporting stakeholders
