Campbell Grove Talent are partnering with a growing professional services business in Harrogate who are looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a part-time basis.
With multiple offices across the UK and completing successful acquisitions, it's an exciting time to join a business with real momentum. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant looking for a hands-on and varied role which offers genuine flexibility and work-life balance.
You will take ownership of the management accounts for a portfolio of companies, ensuring accurate reporting and providing valuable financial insight to support business decisions.
Where you’ll add value:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Managing month-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- Producing variance analysis and financial commentary
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
- Analysing business performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Assisting with year-end processes and continuous improvement projects
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting under the skin of the numbers, spotting issues, asking questions and adding value beyond the standard reporting cycle.
About you:
- Ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Strong management accounting experience gained in industry or practice
- Analytical, detail-focused and commercially aware
- Proactive, inquisitive and confident working independently
Why this role works:
Flexibility is a key part of this role. Working around 22.5 hours per week, you’ll have the opportunity to shape a working pattern that suits you. While some office presence is required between Tuesday and Thursday, there is flexibility around how and when your hours are worked.
