Campbell Grove Talent is working with a growing accountancy firm in Elland to recruit an Accountant to join their friendly and experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries, giving you broad exposure and the chance to further develop your practice experience. What you'll do:
- Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Prepare VAT returns, tax returns and financial statements.
- Liaise with clients to gather information, answer queries and build strong relationships.
- Manage your own workload to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Support colleagues and contribute to improving processes and client service.
- Identify opportunities to add value for clients and support business growth.
What we're looking for:
- Experience of working in Practice
- AAT qualified or studying/qualified ACCA/ACA
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and tax compliance.
- Experience with software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero or QuickBooks (training can be provided).
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.
- A proactive, positive approach and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
