Campbell Grove Talent is working with a growing accountancy firm on the outskirts of Elland who are looking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their friendly and experienced team.

You could be AAT qualified and looking to take the next step in Practice, or already studying towards or qualified ACCA/ACA. Either way, we’re interested in the experience you bring and where you want to go next.

What you'll do:
- Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Prepare VAT returns, tax returns and financial statements.
- Liaise with clients to gather information, answer queries and build strong relationships.
- Manage your own workload to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Support colleagues and contribute to improving processes and client service.
- Identify opportunities to add value for clients and support business growth.
What we're looking for:
- Experience of working in Practice in a Client Accountant role or similar.
- AAT qualified or studying/qualified ACCA/ACA.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and tax compliance.
- Ideally experience with software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero or QuickBooks.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.
- A proactive, positive approach and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
