The predicted salary is between 28142 - 29540 £ per year.
The College wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and motivated person to provide technical support and assistance to teaching staff in the implementation of the Science department's educational programme.
You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week; the hours to be worked being 7.25 hours per day between the hours of 8.30 am and 4.30 pm to meet the needs of the Department, the times will be agreed with the Bursar, through your Head of Department. You are entitled to a paid break of 20 minutes in the morning and an unpaid break of 30 minutes for lunch.
This is a term-time position, i.e. 195 days, being all teaching and staff development days. In addition, a further 4 days outside the normal school term will be required, one of which shall be used to cover the College's Open Event for prospective pupils, the remaining three to be agreed as necessary, with the Head of Department. These days will be paid at your normal daily rate. Additional hours may be necessary from time to time, and reasonable notice will be given in such circumstances.
The salary will be in the NJC Main2 Scale, points 11-14 (£28,142 - £29,540 per annum pro rata). The post will start on NJC Scale 11; however, this may be reviewed depending on experience and qualifications.
