This appointment is for a full-time, temporary member of staff to support the Science department through the teaching of KS3 Science and ideally Chemistry to KS4 for the academic year 2026-27. At Campbell College, all boys study Junior Science in Years 8 and 9 and the three separate science disciplines of Biology, Chemistry and Physics in Year 10. At GCSE Level, all three sciences are offered as separate GCSE subjects and as part of both Double Award and Single Award Science.

For the most part, science staff primarily teach their own specialism; however, some flexibility is required at KS3 and at KS4 for this post. The Science department is a dynamic and innovative department which makes full use of new technologies in its teaching and learning, as well as placing strong emphasis on professional development. All teachers are expected to contribute to student support outside of normal lessons.
