We are partnering with a listed media business with an international footprint and a diverse portfolio of agencies and services across media. This is a senior leadership role within the Finance function, responsible for developing, embedding, and overseeing the Group’s risk management framework. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will work closely with executive leadership and the Board to ensure robust identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across the business.
Responsibilities:- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework
- Partner with senior stakeholders to identify key strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks
- Own and maintain the Group risk register, ensuring clear visibility and accountability
- Support the Board and Audit Committee with high-quality risk reporting and insights
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements applicable to a listed company
- Oversee internal controls framework and contribute to ongoing enhancements
- Drive a strong risk-aware culture across the organisation through training and engagement
- Collaborate with Internal Audit and external advisors where required
- Monitor emerging risks, including those related to the media and digital landscape
- Proven experience in a senior risk role within a listed company environment
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
- Experience working closely with Boards and Audit Committees
- Commercially astute with the ability to balance risk and opportunity
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) preferred
- Salary £80,000 - £100,000 plus bonus
- Hybrid working - 3 days in the office
