About the Role: Looking for a high-impact Group Finance Director to lead their global finance operations. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will be the operational heartbeat of the finance function. Your mission is to harmonize the financial activities across the UK, US, EU, and APAC, ensuring that as the business scales and acquires new agencies, their financial infrastructure is robust, data-led, and integrated. This includes aligning reporting standards, migrating ERP systems, and embedding commercial KPIs.
- PE & Debt Management: Support the Group CFO in managing Private Equity investor requirements, including senior debt covenant monitoring and high-level board reporting.
- Global Commercial Guardrails: Manage the complexities of a multi-national footprint, including cross-border transactions, transfer pricing strategy, and multi-currency treasury/working capital management.
- Data-Led Performance: Transition the function from retrospective accounting to forward-looking insights. Own the 'Data Mindset' by tracking utilization, project-based revenue forecasting, and agency-specific KPIs.
- Process Evolution: Continually refine financial controls and systems to support a high growth environment, ensuring the function remains 'audit-ready' and scalable.
Fully Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 10+ years PQE. ~5 years in a finance leadership role ideally with time spent within a PE-backed business. ~ Direct experience in a Mid-to-Large Marketing Services or Creative agency. ~ Global Fluency: Comfortable navigating the financial nuances of the UK, US, EU, and APAC markets. ~ Project Revenue Specialist: Deep understanding of WIP, revenue recognition, and forecasting within a professional services/creative environment. ~ Commercial Rigor: Ability to present at the Board level with clarity and candour, acting as a trusted deputy to the Group CFO.
