As part of the Campari Singapore finance team, this role is responsible for the financial accounting, tax and statutory reporting aspects of Campari Singapore. The role is responsible for the timely and accurate accounting of the entity, including all general ledger requirements, tax compliance and reporting of monthly results. In addition, the role drives process improvements within the transactional areas of the business.
As a key member of the Singapore finance team, this position is involved in all internal and external audit processes, liaising with external partners regarding annual financial statements preparation, tax and government compliance matters. The role will also be responsible for the consolidation of managerial reporting for all APAC legal entities, ensuring compliance with Group processes and timelines, and to Business operations at the regional level.
In line with FP&A routines, the role will liaise with regional and local stakeholders providing support for monthly forecasts and the yearly SBP/Budget processes. The role will also be a key point of reference during the testing phase of the SAP4Hana transformational project.
Mission/ObjectivesTo drive the accurate and timely accounting for Campari Singapore and compliance with all group and third-party reporting requirements. Provide management with timely financial reports and analysis which accurately reflect the performance, facilitating communication and data gathering with local entities.
Key Responsibilities and Activities- Manage month-end close and group reporting in collaboration with the GBS Accenture team, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Prepare and review P&L and overhead reports, perform detailed variance analysis, and present monthly results to management.
- Ensure accuracy of postings across accounts and cost centres through systematic review and controls.
- Drive process improvements and develop new processes and documentation for accounting and statutory reporting, including problem-solving support.
- Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations to maintain a clean account position and proactively identify potential risks.
- Coordinate annual financial statements preparation with external consultancy partners.
- Manage quarterly tax calculations and year-end tax preparation in partnership with KPMG.
- Support internal and external audit coordination, ensuring timely completion and adherence to compliance standards.
- Consolidate monthly reporting data for all APAC legal entities, supervising accurate submissions for both SAP and non-SAP environments.
- Act as regional point of contact for APAC entities, facilitating data collection and adoption of Group guidelines and frameworks.
- Support SBP/Budget processes, coordinating deadlines and deliverables across APAC markets and consolidating regional financial forecasts.
- Coordinate depletion data consolidation and analysis, working closely with regional demand planners and local businesses to meet global requirements.
- Produce clear, actionable financial reports by consolidating data across business units and geographies for senior stakeholders.
- Lead development of forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans in collaboration with regional finance teams.
- Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to improve accuracy and performance.
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, highlighting key drivers and trends for strategic decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial assumptions and gather critical inputs.
- Manage ad hoc projects and initiatives as required.
- CA / CPA Qualified or working towards.
- SAP or similar ERP experience essential.
- Minimum 2 years experience in finance and accounting.
- Audit and statutory reporting experience essential.
- Experience within the liquor or beverage industry an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years experience in FP&A and commercial finance roles.
- Strong user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of SAP systems (ECC, BW, BPC) advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail.
