Campari Group is looking for a Permanent Business Development Executive (BDE) to join the Commercial team focused on Manchester & Lancashire. The Business Development Executive is responsible for the consumer’s experience and interaction with our brands in the Independent Free Trade (IFT) and will be responsible for the brand distribution, menu feature, commercial deals and activation in IFT. This role is a dynamic fast-moving position that requires the individual to be flexible to work in different parts of the country – adequate time and planning will be given. The position seeks new business distribution opportunities within new accounts, to drive Rate of Sale in existing accounts and to deliver spritz training programs to bar owners/tenders.
The successful candidate will report into the Field sales manager for the area and have an assigned mentor from the current team.
Responsibilities:- Achieves new listings and target Rate of Sale for Campari UK brands in independent free trade accounts, such as pubs, bars, restaurants.
- Implements promotional activities and incentives to deliver results.
- Maintains updated database of information on portfolio of independent on trade accounts on CRM system.
- Provides feedback on competitor activities and market trends in the independent style bar sector and in target on trade accounts.
- Conducts training sessions in on trade accounts for the company’s focus brands.
- Completes all necessary administrative requirements, including weekly journey plans, monthly reports, customer contact reports and other reports requested by the Field sales Executive IFT in real time.
- Is adaptable to market and company requirements – is flexible to change territory when requested for a limited period of time.
- Reports into the Field sales manager.
- Wider Independent Free Trade team including Business Development Managers and Regional.
