Role Overview
The CCM Channel Marketing Manager – On Trade, will be responsible for leading, planning and executing with excellence the On Trade Channel Strategy & Channel Activation Plans for the priority portfolio of brands. This is a vital leadership role within the UK business that will drive both longer term (3 Yr) Channel Strategy as well as short term (1Yr) Annual Channel Plan development - in liaison with the X-Functional Lead Team (Brand & Commercial Teams). The Channel Marketing Manager will lead the On Trade CCM Team with a brand building and cross functional collaborative mindset to achieve our business goals.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Insights - drive actionable insights working with global, local insights / category teams & agency partners to inform Channel Plans
- Channel / Brand Strategy – based on relevant insights, lead development of overall Channel Strategy & Activation Plans across priority brand portfolio
- Execution - Lead overall Channel Activation Plan execution - in line with Outlet Segmentation & Perfect Store Model
- Evaluation - rigorous pre and post evaluation of major activations to ensure maximum return on investment (ROI) and brand equity are delivered
- Plan & Deliver effective Channel SKU & Activation Strategies - right sku (mission) / channel / support commercial team on customer alignment during key moments of the year.
- Leadership - managing and coaching of the On Trade Team to ensure the team perform to the best of their potential and to create a high performance team culture
- Leads Campari Academy Team, overseeing the full Advocacy Program and Key internal Hospitality events along the year.
- X Functional Team Collaboration – Liaison with On Trade Commercial Team as well as Brand Teams, Business Intelligence & Finance Teams ongoing to ensure seamless integration of Omni-Channel thinking and delivery of plans within the On Trade channel
- Agency management – overall leadership / management for contracting and control of channel /brand agency relationships
- Accountable for A&P management in collaboration with finance, logistics and sales

Experience Required
- 7+ Years minimum Channel & Customer Marketing and/or Commercial experience – preferably working in POP activation/ execution (client side mandatory, agency nice to have)
- On Trade Channel & or Drinks experience - mandatory
- Proven team leadership experience with different levels of experience across the team
- Portfolio brand / channel management – able to deal with multiple priorities
