Role Overview: Join the Business Intelligence team based in London, working with Off Trade category partners to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver continuous insight and recommendations through performance monitoring & reporting.
- Build and grow relationships with key Off Trade customers, serving as trusted advisor and primary point of contact for category insights.
- Lead the category agenda for Campari UK with Off Trade customers – ensuring impartial category approach and trusted advisory status.
- Use Nielsen & loyalty card data to support category‑wide and brand recommendations.
- Partner with the commercial, brand and CCM teams to provide category and customer insights that shape strategic decision‑making.
- Support the Category & Insights Controller with a programme of reviews on category performance, segmentation, brand strategy, competitor analysis, channel & consumer insights and outlet understanding.
- Play a lead role in the annual planning process, providing actionable overviews and recommendations for channels, brands & category performance.
- Co‑operate with commercial and finance functions to develop channel plans, selling stories and efficient delivery of market & brand performance.
- Collaborate with the Category & Insights Controller, Finance Director and Finance team to develop category & channel forecasting feeding into SPB planning.
- Deliver regular updates on category & business performance across Off Trade, reviewing competitor & market segment performance and supporting internal teams with relevant market data.

Experience and Skills:
- Minimum two years experience in a research/analytical insight role – ideally with FMCG/BWS experience.
- Proven problem‑solving skills, structured thinking and strong analytical abilities.
- Good understanding of category management principles.
- Strong knowledge of the UK FMCG market across Off Trade.
- Ability to analyse complicated information rapidly, identify risks & opportunities and explain complex issues simply.
- Gravitas, confidence and leadership skills to challenge and influence at all levels of the business.
- Ability to work in cross‑functional teams on both small & large scale projects.
- Compelling communicator – able to utilise a range of styles in written and verbal, including storytelling.
- Personal resilience and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team.
Skills:
- Proficient in Excel & market data query systems (Dunnhumby, SIP, etc.) and able to interpret data.
- Strong analytical & reporting skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written presentation skills) with the ability to distil and bring complex data alive.
