Furniture Assembler

We are currently looking for a Furniture Assembler to join our rapidly growing and exciting business. We are a family run, established business, manufacturing very popular and often high end bespoke wooden campervan furniture for a wide range of vehicles.

Job Purpose:-

The primary responsibility will be to prepare and assemble furniture parts using a CNC machine and power tools to join components together to produce high-quality finished products.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: –

• Prepare and assemble components and complete units with accuracy and care.
• The position involves working with hand tools, power tools, and potentially heavy lifting, contributing to the production of durable and reliable products.
• Examine finished and in process work for defects and flaws to ensure high standards are met.
• Produce high quality, accurate and timely work to meet customers demands and tight deadlines.
• Have a flexible approach to your work.
• Carry out basic machine maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt on the job.
• Proactive team player and committed to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Adhere to and maintain all Health and Safety requirements.
• Carry out general tasks when asked by your line manager.

Essential Skills: –

• Practical workshop experience.
• At least 1 years\’ experience in joinery or cabinet-making.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Work on own initiative and under pressure.
• Attention to detail with regards to following CADs.
• Passion to produce high quality products.
