About the Role

As an Early Years Level 3 Practitioner you will support the Early Years Coordinator in delivering a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children aged 3‑5 within our multi‑activity holiday camp. You will lead and create meaningful play experiences that support development, confidence, and social skills while ensuring every child feels safe, happy, and included.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver high‑quality early years activities
  • Plan and facilitate creative, age‑appropriate play sessions
  • Support a small group of children throughout the day
  • Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and welfare
  • Create a warm, energetic, and inclusive camp environment
  • Incorporate messy play, storytelling, music, movement, and outdoor adventures into daily routine

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 17 years old or over
  • Level 3 childcare qualification (Early Years, QTS, PGCE) or working toward one
  • Available during the October half‑term
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Passion for working with young children
  • Energetic, creative and enthusiastic attitude
  • Confident in working independently and using initiative
  • Understanding of safeguarding – full training provided

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Previous early years or camp experience
  • Pediatric First Aid certification
