Operations Coordinator (Maternity Cover – 12 Months)
Location: Chelmsford. Type: Fixed Term Contract. Salary: £28,000. Hybrid role with 4 days based at Marsh Farm, Essex, with camps across London and the Home Counties.
Camp Beaumont is looking for an Operations Coordinator to lead recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning across our network of UK holiday camps. You will manage the full employee lifecycle from attracting and hiring the right talent to ensuring every camp is fully staffed, compliant, and ready to deliver fun, safe, and high-quality experiences for children and young people.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-volume recruitment and onboarding of seasonal staff
- Use the in-house scheduling platform to ensure camps are fully and efficiently staffed to meet compliance and quality standards
- Manage staff relationships and drive retention year on year
- Oversee use of the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment channels
- Collaborate with HR, Operations, Marketing and other teams to meet business needs
- Support training, record keeping, and reporting to ensure OFSTED readiness
Qualifications & Skills
- A team player who is passionate about delivering a great candidate and employee experience; enjoy speaking to people
- Experience in recruitment/workforce planning, ideally high-volume
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ATS systems
- Confident relationship-builder with an eye for detail
