About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations & Facilities Manager to join the team at Marsh Farm.
Reporting to the General Manager, you'll play a key role in leading the day-to-day operation of the park, ensuring it is safe, compliant, well-presented and operating efficiently.
This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll spend the majority of your time on the floor, supporting teams, solving problems and ensuring an exceptional experience for every guest.
You'll oversee operational delivery, facilities, maintenance, Health & Safety, events and team performance, working closely with managers and departments to maintain consistently high standards across the business.
- Lead the day-to-day operation of Marsh Farm, ensuring the site is safe, compliant, clean and guest-ready at all times.
- Lead and support Duty Managers, Maintenance, Grounds, Cleaning and operational teams, creating a positive culture with clear standards and accountability.
- Deliver daily and seasonal operations, including attractions, activities and events, ensuring they are fully resourced and professionally delivered.
- Oversee facilities, maintenance programmes, site improvements and contractors, ensuring buildings, rides, play equipment and infrastructure remain safe and operational.
- Ensure all Health & Safety, licensing and compliance requirements are met, including inspections, risk assessments, maintenance records and incident management.
- Drive high standards of site presentation, cleanliness and customer experience by regularly reviewing the guest journey and identifying improvements.
- Support commercial performance by monitoring labour deployment, promoting memberships and improving operational efficiencies without impacting guest experience.
- Recruit, coach and develop teams through effective leadership, training and communication.
- Work closely with the General Manager to report performance, deliver improvements and support the continued growth of Marsh Farm.
About You
You'll have proven operational management experience within a leisure attraction, hospitality, retail or similar customer-focused environment.
You'll be a confident, hands-on leader who enjoys being visible on site, supporting teams and driving high standards.
You'll have
- Experience leading managers and frontline operational teams.
- Strong knowledge of facilities management, Health & Safety and operational compliance.
- Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- Experience managing contractors and maintenance programmes (desirable).
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how operational delivery impacts business performance.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure, make confident decisions and solve problems quickly.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.
