Cammach are recruiting for a Stores Person, initially for a few months work for a fabrication client in the Aberdeen area. This could lead to longer term work. (Immediate start available) RESPONSIBILITIES: Effective and efficient warehouse management Material control including Goods Receipt Material Traceability – marking of items with Job Numbers and Material Control Record Numbers Inspection and certifying of Supplier Documentation, Isometrics in line with Goods In Process Inventory Management Stock control and ordering of consumables Documentation and packing of materials and equipment for offshore and onshore based projects Period stock counts as may be required Good housekeeping in all store’s areas both internal and external Manifesting and labelling of products in preparation for despatch Completion of Dangerous Goods certification as and when required Expediting as required Upkeep of both Project Material Logs and Stock Inventory Log Control and issue of small tools, rigging & lifting equipment, and welding consumables REQUIREMENTS: Basic computer skills and knowledge of relevant software Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment. Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems Knowledge of principles and practices of basic Stores management Knowledge of fabrication and installation materials Communication skills – written and verbal Planning, organizing & prioritising Information gathering and information monitoring Attention to detail and accuracy Flexibility, adaptability & teamwork Driving licence (Preferred) and B1 Forklift Licence Dangerous Goods Certification (Preferred)
