Our client is currently recruiting a ROV Project Engineer. Based in Aberdeen, the role will be on a full-time, contract basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete documentation/manuals associated with newbuild Subsea / ROV systems & Equipment.
  • Review procedures and drawings in order to ensure practicality from an ROV operations point of view.
  • Awareness and understanding of company's current requirements and, where applicable, the latest Industry Codes and Standards, including statutory rules and regulations.
  • To ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with company policy on health, safety, quality and environmental matters in accordance with company specific procedures.
  • To ensure that personal safety and that of others is not compromised or placed at risk.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completed engineering studies at a University or College level or possess equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ROV offshore operations, in particular subsea construction and remote intervention.
  • Up to date with ISO 'Design and operation of subsea production systems - Part 8: Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) interfaces on subsea production systems.
  • Ability to produce technical documentation for remotely operated subsea equipment.
  • Have a good knowledge of ROV system design and system-level engineering.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office programs, MathCAD, and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to work without supervision, coordinate varied resources, actively contribute, and possess problem-solving skills.
  • Efficient communication skills at all levels and be confident in supervising other technical disciplines.
