Due to our clients continued growth, they are looking to recruit a motivated and experienced Level 2 Safety Technician to join their Thorne, Doncaster team on a permanent (staff) basis, ROLE This role will involve both workshop and onsite work, supporting inspection, servicing, and maintenance of safety equipment such as Breathing Apparatus, Gas Detection, Fall Arrest Equipment, Fire Fighting Equipment, Marine LSA and H2S safety systems. You\’ll be part of a close-knit, multi-skilled team delivering essential services to clients across the UK and beyond, working on equipment that protects lives every day. RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct inspection, testing, servicing, and calibration of safety equipment Perform H2S safety support scopes, including gas monitoring and breathing air packages Prepare rental equipment, ensuring it meets quality and safety standards Complete service reports, documentation, and client checklists accurately and promptly Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Support wider company operations including mobilisation/demobilisation of equipment, exhibitions, and demos when required REQUIREMENTS Experience in a similar safety technician role (ideally 2+ years) Knowledge of life saving apparatus such as Gas Detection, Breathing Apparatus & Fire Fighting Equipment. Competence in fault finding, repairs, and diagnostics Ability to work under pressure and meet client deadlines Excellent communication skills and team ethos Full UK driving licence
