Our Aberdeen-based client is currently seeking a Workshop Technician for an initial two-week contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

ROLE

As a Workshop Technician, you are employed to strip, inspect, and rebuild various mechanical equipment and associated components, and provide support to the Workshop Supervisor and Operations team, to ensure smooth and effective running of projects/jobs, ensuring all targets are achieved.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strip, inspect and rebuild various equipment including associated components.
  • Ensure all reporting is precise, detailed and completed in a timely manner and to company standard.
  • Make recommendations to line supervisor to ensure reliability of equipment is maintained.
  • Escalate key faults or product failures to relevant department and progress through to resolution.
  • Inspect equipment for conformance with operational standards, service bulletins and safety alerts.
  • Accurately complete work routers and any additional paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Correctly identify part requirements, ensuring all details are accurate.
  • Maintain all associated paperwork and systems as required.
