Cammach are currently recruiting for a Personnel Logistics Coordinator on behalf of our Aberdeenshire-based client. This is a 3-month contract opportunity offering a hybrid working arrangement.
ROLE
The Personnel Logistics Coordinator will act as focal point for the Coordination of project personnel logistics, offshore field personnel, clients and delivery team regarding mobilisation, de-mobilisations and crew changes. The Personnel Logistics Coordinator will effectively communicate with the offshore team on a day-to-day basis as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adopt and promote the company’s People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout.
- Responsible for mobilising and demobilising personnel from worldwide locations in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet required dates.
- Check and ensure that all offshore certification is in date prior to mobilisation; including but not limited to Passport, Seafarers ID, Offshore Survival Training Certs, Medical Fitness Cert (OGUK and company Medical), and any other certification required for the job.
- Book and manage all travel (flights/car hires/hotels/trains) with the company Travel Management Company, ensuring Travel is arranged as per contractual and operational requirements and in line with Work Instructions.
- Ensure safety, quality and operating efficiency of all offshore field personnel meets the highest of standards.
- Ensure operating procedures are implemented and if possible improved across all responsible sectors.
- Ensure HSEQ standards are met and contribute to improvements where possible.
- Prepare internal and external reports using Microsoft Office programs as necessary.
- Ensure all offshore personnel expense claims are checked and authorised in a timely manner.
- Ensures all third-party invoices are checked and collated for recharging.
- Liaising and supporting different departments as needed.
- Develop strong working relations with key stakeholders – clients, colleagues etc.
- To be a positive ambassador for the company.
- Keep in regular contact with offshore field operations personnel.
- Liaise with client(s) on their requirements as necessary.
- Create, check and update offshore field personnel utilisation records / tracking system.
- Participate in on-call rota.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have significant previous experience in the mobilisation of people.
- Must be well organised and focused on achieving results.
- Must be able to work under pressure and in time constraints.
- Strong organisational skills with a good ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
- Understanding and appreciation of the offshore industry training/certification requirements.
- A high level of confidentiality with excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to cope with change in a busy working environment.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn.
