Our client, a leading global provider of specialist offshore containers and integrated services is currently seeking a Forklift Driver to join their Aberdeen team on a permanent (staff) basis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Loading and unloading containers/tanks from incoming/outgoing transport and moving containers/tanks around the yard as required.
  • Contributing to maintaining business system integrity by booking units in/out of site and each location.
  • Carrying out general work around the site as requested in line with training provided.
  • Loading and unloading containers/tanks from transport in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the Company Forklift Code of Practice at all times.
  • Using electronic platforms to record units being receipted/despatched on site and ensuring that units being relocated on site are transacted to ensure system accuracy and integrity.
  • Carrying out general work around the site as required including housekeeping and container maintenance.
  • Ensuring the safe use and maintenance of the forklift truck and other company equipment in line with the Company Forklift Code of Practice.
  • Maintaining the safety of others on site, especially those in the vicinity of forklift truck movements.
  • Working closely with the Yard Lead to co-ordinate the movement and loading/unloading of containers.
  • Coordinating truck movements in a safe and efficient manner with other forklift drivers.
