Our client, one of the largest independent Oil & Gas Operators, is currently seeking a Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract basis in Aberdeen.
Hybrid working arrangement – 3 days office / 2 days home
33 days annual leave
ROLE
The successful candidate will join the UKBU Integrated Operated Assets multi-disciplinary subsurface team and will be responsible for delivering opportunities for production enhancement and resource growth through subsurface characterisation, reservoir modelling, opportunity generation and well planning support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver opportunities for production enhancement and resource additions
- Support well planning and delivery programmes
- Undertake reservoir simulation and predictive flow modelling
- Perform reservoir engineering evaluations and opportunity maturation
- Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary subsurface teams
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree qualified in Reservoir Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience delivering complex reservoir engineering projects incorporating uncertainty
- Expertise across field development, simulation, material balance, pressure transient analysis, fluid properties, decline curve analysis and reserve evaluations
- Ability to identify, develop, execute and evaluate business opportunities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Sound working knowledge of industry software packages
