Our client is seeking an Operations Coordinator with a strong manufacturing or workshop background to join their Aberdeen team on a 12-month contract. To provide proficient and effective coordination and support to the Workshop and Project Management teams, ensuring accurate and timely updating of management systems to drive efficiency through the shop, reduce repair lead-times, and reduce costs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding and applying all HSE and company mandated policies and requirements to prevent injury to self or others.
  • Driving planning and coordination efforts to reduce repair lead-times through the workshop.
  • Planning and coordinating on-site inspection requirements (FM, Lifting, Premium Thread).
  • Planning and coordinating pre-survey cleaning of tools and equipment entering the workshop.
  • Shipping receipt on site.
  • Initiating OSP Requirements for any subcontractors rework or coating based on survey information.
  • Assessing the financial impact and cost benefits of rework, replacement, or substitution of tools or components.
  • Updating tool Unit Configurations.

Office-based, with regular time spent on the shop floor engaging directly with the team. Experience coordinating inspections, pre-survey cleaning, subcontractor activities, and managing OSP requirements based on survey findings. Ability to maintain full visibility and reporting of tools and equipment throughout the maintenance lifecycle, including status tracking, movements, lead times, forecasts, and financial impact assessments.

Tools/Software: As the Oracle system is highly customized to company-specific processes, candidates are not expected to have prior experience with it.
