We have a requirement for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a global energy services company on a permanent (staff) basis. With over 50 years of experience and operations across more than 40 locations worldwide, the company is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support ongoing engineering activities within the P&A Applications group.
ROLE
The role will focus on electrical design and interfacing activities associated with a compact workover rig programme, supporting well P&A operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Chartered Engineer status preferred (CEng or working towards)
- Strong background in electrical system design for drilling or well intervention equipment
- Experience in workover rigs and/or similar offshore drilling assets is preferred but not essential
- Proven capability in equipment interfacing, system integration, and electrical architecture development, including power generation
- Familiarity with offshore standards and UKCS regulatory requirements
- Solid project experience
