WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY

Camlin has an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Project Management Team who are responsible for managing a variety of project types including new product development/implementation and business initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting project managers with a variety of activities including project planning and scheduling.
  • Management of project delivery activities.
  • Project huddles and monthly senior reviews.
  • Project reporting and presentations.
  • Project governance reviews.
  • Help support the administration of Camlin’s Project Management Platform (Cora).
  • Take part in the Project Management Team's ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Undertake any other duties that are required to ensure the smooth operation of the Project Management function.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, keen to learn and develop industry and product knowledge.
  • Effectively prioritise your workload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of people.
  • Good organisation and time management skills.
  • Confident using common tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Placement year or internship experience in engineering, manufacturing, IT or a business environment.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles such as planning, risks, dependencies and milestones.
  • Awareness of project frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall or PRINCE2.
  • Interest in pursuing a formal project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or APM.
