Purpose

At Camlin, the Software Project Manager drives the successful delivery of software solutions that help engineer better futures, by providing governance, aligning cross‑functional teams, managing schedules and resources, and ensuring projects meet quality standards, business goals, and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Project planning & scheduling – Defining overarching schedule, milestones, and capacity plan.
  • Stakeholder communication – Clear, timely updates and managing expectations.
  • Team leadership – Managing and motivating the assigned project team.
  • Risk management – Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks associated with cost, scope and time.
  • Process Knowledge & Governance – Understand and contribute towards building stable software development processes and methodologies. Bring governance to the processes.
  • Budget & resource management – Allocating people, tools, and costs effectively.
  • Problem‑solving & decision‑making – Navigating issues quickly and effectively.
  • Technical literacy – Understanding the outputs of all cross‑functional team members to ensure coordinated delivery, maintain project momentum, and make informed decisions.
  • Working methods – Working methods will be appropriate for the post‑COVID business environment and will involve working with remote teams.

What You Will Need To Succeed

  • Hands‑on experience across the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and release management.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of project management methodologies and documentation.
  • Proven experience in managing project budgets and schedules.
  • Experience in leading project teams and managing multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) including experience in presenting to/ negotiating with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience of using project management platforms such as MS‑Project.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be an EU passport holder.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree (e.g. MSc, BA, BSc, BEng).
  • Any relevant professional qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM, PMP, Agile, Scrum.
