Purpose of the role
To provide professional HR support, guidance, and advice to managers and employees across operational sites. The HR Advisor will ensure HR policies are applied consistently, enhance employee engagement, and support HR projects aligned with Camira’s values and strategic goals.

The day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to the Camira Code of Conduct and all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and legislative requirements.
  • Providing HR support and guidance to managers and employees, ensuring adherence to policies and best practices.
  • Advising on employee relations matters such as disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance management.
  • Coordinating core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, contractual changes, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of HR policies and people strategies.
  • Supporting initiatives on engagement, diversity, inclusion, wellbeing, and talent development, including delivering HR training.
  • Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and building external relationships with educational and industry bodies.
  • Producing HR metrics and analytics for strategic decision-making.
  • Promoting a positive workplace culture aligned with Camira’s values.

Other considerations

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification, preferably working towards Level 5, or equivalent.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar in a fast-paced environment, with good knowledge of employment law.
  • Skilled in advising, coaching, and influencing managers on employee relations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in HR systems and reporting tools; experience with international HR is a plus.
