Purpose of the role

The purpose of this role is to manage and grow the Camira Contract business in Scotland and the Scottish Borders.

The day to day

  • To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements
  • To deliver against budgeted revenues and profitability within the territory.
  • Negotiate contracts with key customers.
  • Identify opportunities to build sales and raise the profile of our product portfolio with UK manufacturers, dealers and specifiers to deliver against budgets and strategy.
  • Build, develop & maintain relationships with key cross functional personnel within key accounts, working proactively and in partnership at all levels.
  • Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with the main touch points of influence within the contract interiors specification market within the territory.
  • Identify major projects for specification and collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring specification to sales conversion.
  • Gather and report on market and customer insights to inform business strategy.
  • Deliver product training to customers raising the profile of Camira and our products.
  • Work in partnership with the customer service team to facilitate the delivery and coordination of key projects.
  • Network and collaborate with key customers and specifiers
  • Attend industry tradeshows and events

Other considerations

  • Proven experience in generating interest in products & brands and turn this interest into long-term business relationships with the target-group.
  • Experience of delivering training/sales presentations
  • Excellent analytical skills and a good assessment of business opportunities
  • CRM knowledge and analysis.
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of Contract fabric applications would be advantageous.
  • An understanding of interiors would be advantageous finishes
