Purpose of the role
To support the smooth day-to-day running of the office, production and despatch functions, ensuring customer orders, stock, purchasing and deliveries are accurately coordinated to help meet production requirements and customer expectations.
The day to day
· To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements
· Process customer orders accurately through the business system and prepare the required production documentation.
· Coordinate the despatch of finished goods, including arranging UPS and internal collections and supporting packing where required.
· Coordinate materials and components being sent to external suppliers for secondary operations, maintaining accurate records of work in progress.
· Liaise with the Camira despatch team to ensure UK and export orders are ready for invoicing.
· Raise and receipt purchase orders for raw materials using Sage.
· Monitor yarn and raw material stock levels, using reports to identify and replenish items that fall below required levels.
· Order and maintain stock of materials and supplies required by both the office and production teams.
