Purpose of the role
To assist in the smooth running of the office and despatch departments to help deliver high quality products and meet customer demands. This is a 12-month FTC.
The day to day
- To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements.
- Enter new customer orders and parts on the business system and produce Production Advise package for production.
- Run through the finished goods in the business system and despatch via UPS or internal pick-up, this may involve some packing of goods returned from external company performing a secondary operation.
- Arrange for the secondary operation components to be sent to our external supplier, this will also involve maintaining spreadsheets to keep track of the movement of WIP.
- Notify Camira despatch team of what UK and Export parts need invoicing.
- Add and receipt purchase orders to Sage system for various raw materials.
- Maintain yarn stocks by running reports to show what yarns are below minimums.
- Order raw materials and manage stocks of items required by office and production.
- Manage daily despatch and input data on parts for reporting purposes.
- Answer phones and be the customer face of Camira Knit when customers visit.
