Purpose of the role: We are looking for motivated individuals to join our production team as Machine Operatives, playing a key role in keeping our operations running efficiently and safely. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with modern equipment, develop valuable technical skills, and be part of a team that takes pride in delivering high-quality products.
The day to day:
- To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements.
- Produce products to the agreed specification by following processes.
- Quality checking to ensure a quality product is knitted and delivered to the customer.
- Maintain Stoll machines in accordance with standard working practices to ensure smooth running operation and efficiency of the machine.
- Ensure a smooth shift handover by attending daily meetings.
- Change over machines to ensure smooth running of the manufacturing process.
Shift Pattern: This position requires working a 3-week rotational shift pattern:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday: 06:00-14:00
- Week 2: Monday to Friday: 14:00-22:00
- Week 3: Sunday to Thursday: 22:00-06:00
