Introduction At Camira, we're offering the opportunity to begin a structured 5-year career pathway designed to develop the next generation of textile manufacturing and engineering professionals.

You\'ll start by completing a Textile Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience within our Carding & Spinning department.

Responsibilities

  • Learning how to prepare fibres for the carding process
  • Supporting the operation of modern spinning machinery
  • Checking yarn quality and identifying any faults
  • Recording production information accurately
  • Carrying out routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
  • Working safely while following quality, environmental and health & safety procedures
  • Training Outcome

Following the TMO qualification you will be entered onto an Engineer Qualification.
