Camino Search have partnered with a high-growth, Private Equity-backed SaaS company. They are currently entering an exciting new chapter of growth and transformation. To support this next phase, we’re hiring a strategic and commercially-minded VP of Sales to lead the go-to-market strategy and scale the commercial operations.
As the VP of Sales, you’ll play a critical role on the executive leadership team, owning and accelerating the revenue growth across new business, expansion, and retention. This role spans Sales, Customer Success, and potentially Marketing (depending on structure), and is focused on building a scalable commercial engine to deliver consistent performance and long-term value creation in line with our PE growth thesis.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of our commercial growth strategy in partnership with the CEO and Board
- Own all revenue-generating functions, including Sales, Customer Success, and potentially Marketing
- Drive top-line revenue growth through new customer acquisition, upsell/cross-sell, and retention strategies
- Build, scale, and mentor high-performing commercial teams, aligned to company objectives and PE value creation plans
- Create and implement scalable sales processes, pipeline discipline, and forecasting accuracy
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Finance to ensure full alignment across go-to-market efforts
- Lead strategic enterprise sales opportunities and key account relationships
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (e.g. ARR, CAC, LTV, churn)
- Report regularly to the Board and PE stakeholders on revenue performance, forecasts, and commercial KPIs
- Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role (Head of, VP Sales, etc.) within a SaaS business
- Experience operating in a Private Equity-backed environment, with an understanding of PE growth and exit strategies
- Demonstrated success scaling revenue from £5m to £20+ in a high-growth SaaS context
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, sales processes (mid-market to enterprise), and customer lifecycle management
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a data-driven and strategic mindset
- Hands-on leadership style, with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
- Experience working closely with C-suite and Boards, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
