The business is scaling rapidly, supported by an active PE investor, and is focused on building a best-in-class finance function to support continued growth, margin optimisation and commercial decision-making.
This role is ideally suited to a high-calibre Management Accountant ready to step into a broader position or an individual from Transaction Services looking for their first industry move with increased ownership, visibility and influence.
You'll play a key role in owning the monthly close, developing reporting and controls, and partnering with senior stakeholders across the business — particularly around project profitability, utilisation and cash.
Key Responsibilities:- Ownership of the monthly management accounts process, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
- Preparation of board and PE-level reporting, delivering clear insight into performance, margins and cash
- Strong business partnering with consulting leadership on project performance, utilisation, revenue recognition and cost control
- Management of cash flow forecasting, working capital and billing processes
- Support for budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting, working closely with FP&A
- Acting as a key point of contact for audit, tax and external advisors
- Currently working as a Management Accountant or Senior Management Accountant, ideally within consulting, software / tech or a PE-backed environment - or someone from a Transaction Services or Corporate Finance team from an accounting firm
- Strong grounding in month-end, management reporting and balance sheet control
- Comfortable engaging with non-finance stakeholders and challenging assumptions
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or close to qualification)
