Backed by a leading private equity firm, the business has an ambitious vision: to scale to a £1bn+ EV within the next five years through a focused buy-and-build strategy.
We are seeking a high-calibre M&A Manager to join the team and play a pivotal role in driving this ambitious growth. This is a unique opportunity to join a business in its early stages and take ownership of the entire M&A lifecycle, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the private equity sponsor.
Key responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end M&A execution
- Work closely with the CEO and PE investors to shape the inorganic growth strategy
- Complete 3–5 deals per year focused on the UK financial services market
- Build strong relationships with target companies, advisors, and internal stakeholders
- 2–6 years’ experience in M&A (either in-house or investment banking)
- Proven track record of executing successful transactions
- Background in financial services is essential
- UK-based and able to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Ambition to progress – this role offers a clear path to M&A Director
